Around 1967 Construction of Industry & Trade Center Building was proposed by the Yokohama Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a commemorative project of centennial anniversary of year of Meiji.
May 1969 “Industry & Trade Center Bldg. Erection Research Committee” was set up in collaboration between Kanagawa Prefecture, City of Yokohama and Chamber of Commerce.

Construction of the Industry & Trade Center Building commenced.
June 1974 Capital was increased by \375 million (capital: \875 million).

Industry & Trade Center Building was inaugurated.
1975 Kanagawa Prefecture Passport Center Main Office opened (2F).
September 1982 Capital was increased by \375 million (capital: \1625 million).
December 1984 Capital was increased by \250 million (capital: \1875 million).
December 1989 Full scale exterior repainting was implemented.
December 1992 Facility appraisal of Industry & Trade Center Building was conducted.
June 2006 Monument was established at the former site of HSBC (the oldest bank currently in operation in Japan) on the premise.
August 2006 The Building was authorized as the second-class designated energy management factory  by Ministry of Economy & Industry, Kanto Economy and Industry Bureau.  The Company undertook promotion of energy-conservation and down-sizing.
April 2011 Based on the evaluation results of seismic capacity (March 2010), 3-year quake-proof  reinforcement works were started.
November 2012 The initial Sanbo Fureai Concert was held to assist Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra jointly with supporting groups at their request.
February 2013 Quake-proof reinforcement works plan was rated 'satisfactory' as a result of JSCA overall evaluation.
August 2013 Quake-proof reinforcement works were completed.
